I've just rebuilt the front end on a shït box lifted 1st gen 4runner. It's mostly a trail rig, but does some daily duties occasionally.
It's got 4" drop brackets front and rear, cranked torsion bars in front, and lifted springs in the rear

I've given it all new bearings, ball joints, tierod ends, pitman arm and idler arm etc.

I've done a basic backyard alignment and given it 3/8 total toe in.

The rig drives good. Tracks straight, no wandering, no shimmy (was real bad before rebuild).
It has a little bit of tire shake. It's running 35" MTZs on steel wheels with quite a bit of weight on some.

Nothing at all is gonna be to OEM specs. Just wondering if others have any experience with changing toe in, or toe out to eliminate tire shake

i always put 1/4 toe in measuring at outside of tread front to rear.
your shake is likely balancing issues or just simply out of road tires/wheels. using weights or ceramic BBs? i really like BBs. 35"s- 10-12oz
