Wait... aren't you doing it backwards? Shouldn't it be Silverton in Summer and Phoenix in Winter? You know Silverton gets around 20' (that's FEET) of snow in winter, right?

Good Luck. Silverton is beautiful. There's supposed to be good 'wheeling and some kind of train there too, or so I've heard... ;)
 
Wow, what will you be doing in Silverton? In grew up in Durango and still have family there.
I really want to get up there to do the some of the surrounding trails sometime.
 
Did SW Colorado even have a summer? I heard it was brutal this year. Good luck the San Juan Mountains are tough to beat. Hope your claim works out. If it does maybe you could send me a gold plated drivers side window regulator. :)
