To get us ready towards becoming a chartered chapter of TLCA we need to know how many of us are current TLCA members. If anyone has not sent contact info to Kelly please do so and include your TLCA membership number.

I also strongly recommend anyone to consider joining TLCA, even if you consider yourself a loose affliate of our local group. There are countless benifits to being a TLCA member, with that great bi-montly Toyota Trails Magazine as the icing on the cake!

I just saw the mag that bens talking about and its pretty cool...worth the membership money alone.
 
Hey Im going to bled the brakes on sat. morning but dont feel like messing with the proportioning valve. Really because i dont know too much on it and we only did the fronts. Can i bleed just the fronts by themselves?
 
I am a TLCA member, and I have sent my number to Brett and Kelly both along with other info.....

Just change the FJC on my info out for 100 series and that is the only difference.

Yeah but why? There is no reason to bleed the brakes when you do pads. However, looking at that dark fluid in your cup I'd do a full flush on all the lines. The lspv is nothing to be scared of, its got a bleeder on it just like the callipers and is bleed last.

To do 35's like I want is going to cost a bit of money. Have to re-gear (4.88s), and while I am doing that, put ARBs in the front and rear... Then a lift, and then finally 35" Toyo Open country mud tires I think is what I am gonna go with. It's going to be a long term project I am afraid. Not enough money in the bank to do all that at one time.

I could use a lotto winning, or my wife to graduate from school sooner.. haha
 
I was reading about the d'bag that got all bent out of shape because there was a 100 series Lexus on the cover of Toyota Trails and it hit me. I paid my member ship dues over almost a year ago and haven't received a single issue. I know i should have realized it earlier but whatever, not mad just want to start receiving them.
who do i contact?

Yes you can send an email or give them a call tomorrow. They're pretty good about answering the phone or getting back to you. I'd request all the back issues too. You can never have too many copies of Toyota Trails.

I dont know wtf happened but i paid for dues to LSLC not TLCA. How and where did i get that paypal address to send payment to?

I dont remember if i did its on my old laptop...probably just a little email. What would be the point of joining the lslc, isnt that dallas?
 
I joined LSLC-Austin and got some membership stuff. I can't remember what,maybe some stickers and such.

I don't think you can be a member of LSLC without being a TLCA member though.

It seems they should have either sent you some stuff or rejected your membership.:meh:
