Is that each or per pair?

Also, what is the weight of each?
What kind of warranty?
What is the weight rating for them?
What distances can they actually span if any?

Add to that -when you use them 2 or 4 of them in the mud (not much sand in BC) you will need a shovel to dig them out and a some way to clean them before they go back in -- on top your rig.

Actually no, this is where you attach a thinner strap to them so you can pull them out with the vehicle. And since they are mounted on the outside who cares if they are covered in mud, just rinse them off at the next swamp/river crossing. I don't see an issue with it. Oh and if I get the N.P.P.T. ever finished they can just go under the flat deck ;)

Good deal - how many are you buying?

enough to fill orders but unlikely I'll be bring in a surplus, too many colours and sizes to stock everything
maybe closer to summer will allow me the added $$$$ to carry some stock.
We're expanding the shop space, staff and products so I need to watch the pennies for the next while

Expanding the shop = Used Parts Sale !!

Ya I made a pair of long ones for a specific trip some thirty years ago ,saved my bacon for sure if not my life. I'd get the free spanning ones ,to bad they didn't link together to double the span.

I always love people worrying about bridging ability, the things are only 42" long so maybe safely span 36" what could you possibly not figure out how to get over that is only 3 feet wide if you want stuff for bridging buy stuff for bridging. If you have these and you really need them for bridging you'll try em anyways no matter what specs are, if they work they work if not well what have you lost. If I really needed a bridging device I sure as hell ain't gonna trust plastic.

I'm not worried about bridging ability, I'm just asking what it's limitations are before I buy it. I know it's not going to be a bridge because of it's design, but I also know it can be used as a ramp in certain situations (similar to bridging). Knowing the max weight/span it can handle as a bridging device gives me a good idea of the limitations it has and what it can be used for. I know the Trax units are a lot more flexible but they are thinner, this seems to be fairly thick. So is it less flexible and more likely to just snap under the weight or will it flex? If it's used as a ramp will the ends just buckle and snap off or will it contour a bit more and allow the wheel to climb easier?

Just looked through their site, they do not recommend the use of them in any kind of bridging or ramp use.
