Don't buy it from 4X4connection! Just my 02.

I'd contact TJM directly.

Not trying to stir the pot, just curious, but why do you say that? They're somewhat local to me(1.5 hours) and I was thinking about ordering some stuff from them and picking it up. Thanks

Ary

There local to me too, this is not an IH8MUD viewpoint, this is my own point of view, and is shared by a few on this board. Do a search there is some information to be obtained.

I just called 4X4 Connection and they said the version that I want would be the same price. So, there are 2 versions.

Hmmm, now I have to search to see why they're not a desired vendor (at least from individuals on this board).

What if one of my best friends works there and is very helpful?(he's a part-timer during the summer, most likely not one of the guys you've dealt with before)

I'll talk to him and see if I can get an inside perspective on what's going on with their operation. He's a straight shooter and would tell me what's up. I'll report back with info.

BTW, where are you located? Interested in helping with a birf job in the near future? :D I'm in Rockville, MD.

Well, I ordered the T3 Classique from 4x4 Connection on Friday. I called them today to find out the status and was told that the bar is in town, but scheduled to be delivered on Monday the 29th. I called the shipping company directly and asked if I can pick it up on Friday (so I can put it on over the weekend) and they said "no problem." So, I'm pretty psyched and hopefully it's the correct bar (classique vs. original). So, if you asked me now, I'd say 4x4 connection is pretty damn good.

I have bought 3 large items from 4x4 Connection(one back when they were Land Cruiser Conection) and I was happy all 3 times. I do know Junk is not a fan of theirs however.

Got the bar, and put it on over the weekend. Except for a little battery mishap (other post) it went very well. I think it looks great, however my wife thinks it would look better painted. Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost??? I'm guessing it should be powder coated and not painted.

Eric might be able to help you with that question, IIRC. :D
