I just called TJM and they told me Slee has 4 sets at the Carson warehouse. I picked up one, three more for you guys!

Hmmm...tempting. I really like it @Markuson truck. Thinking about picking one up for the new LX, but that's a slippery slope as I was going to try to keep this one at close to stock as possible.

Oh dear...

Awesome bumper.

OPEN.......WALLET..... :)

Markuson if you had to do it again would you have painted it to match the car or leave it black?

Black again.

It always “matches” because trim, plastic, window frames/seals and TIRES are basically matte/satin black no matter what.
You can pay big bucks to color match, but personally I think it makes it look bland...and you end up with black portions anyway due to above.

Plus it’s super easy to touch up scrapes from wheeling. A rattle can of satin or matte black and done.

I do think color matching can look sweet too. Just not for me.

Agreed, I was wondering if it would be worth it but you answered my question! Thanks for the info!!

The powder coat finish on the TJM is not very thick. Measured it with a neat lilttle digital reader at the powder coat shop couple years ago. I had mine redone in a satin finish to match the rear once it was finished being fab'd up. Not going to hurt anything either way. just sharing since its being discussed. Theres something to think about.

How much do those TJM bumpers cost?

Mine was low $1400's without tax or shipping, but I suspect the demand (and short supply) will drive it up. TJM has been aggressively pricing these as they slowly reestablish a bumper presence in the US (or so I'm told).

I've seen both higher and lower than that...but the real trick is getting one in-country at all. They seem to just barely TRICKLE out of TJM to the US. I waited months to get mine, so the fact Slee has (had?) 3 or 4 in stock is unusual. If you want it, you'd be wise to call Slee yesterday.

Mine cost 17xx.00 and I am will calling it in Carson so I saved on delivery but to Markuson’s point I called everywhere and no ones had them

Supply and demand at work... :)
They are hard to come by for sure. RARE fits.
-Still a bargain price next to the ARB+fogs.

@willybeamin is right.

I'd name that as the only knock. Not something I think about though, since a scrape needs touch-up up whether coats are thick or thin. If my bumper still bare from the factory, I might go ahead and add a thicker layer...but it's on and loaded up and not a big deal to me.

that is weird. I ask Ben at Slee yesterday about bumpers. I wanted a TJM but he indicated they only had ARB's in stock.
Also had a white in stock which would match my vehicle but I prefer the black so ordered that.
Apparently they make more selling ARBs for $2055. Very uncool of him.........but maybe they had all sold by 2PM or didn't fit my 2014. Kinda pisses me off.

Have a feeling he may not have known they were at the carson warehouse.

Thanks for the note Christo

I have an ARB front bumper. Bought it from Slee. Also bought a rear bumper and sliders from them. And they installed everything. Always honest and upfront. Good products and good work. Straight shooters. My experiences with @sleeoffroad have all been good.

Did not take @Blasst comment as a slam. Just fast moving product with limited quantity. As I said they are allocated, but we work on first come first serve basis, so we have to make sure we get the orders done for those that were in-line. If someone backs out the product will become available.
