title question

I could not get the previous owner info from MS, but, If you are sure you have the right info that would have been on the last title issued in MS, then go ahead and fill out the replacement title application and send it in. As long as the truck has never been reported stolen, signing the previous owners name is no big deal. If you paid for the truck and obtained it from someone who legally had the rights to it, then no fraud intended and laws broken. Possession is 9/10 of the law in most cases and you have a good paper trail if something goes south. Good luck. If I make any more headway I will email you...

I can assure you that the truck has never been reported stolen. It sat under a barn for years plainly visable from the road. Just sign the name and move on. It'll work out.
