Hello,
I need to put some new suspension & tires on my 2003 TRD 4x4 Tacoma. I am currently running the stock suspension, never had a complaint.
As for the tires I am currently running 265/75R-16, Firestone Destination MT's I love them. They are alittle noisy on the HWY, I knew that when I got them though. At this point in my life I am spending more time driving on the paved roads than I would like. I still get off road a far amount. Mainly in snow/mud/sand. We can drive on the beaches where I live. I am looking for a more comfortable/quiet, tire on the road, that can still handle soft sand/mud/and snow.
As for the shocks I was thinking of using the Bilstein:

Any input here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I have had good luck with BFG AT's. Very good in the sand and quiet enough on the Hwy. have never had much use for a MT, being the kind of wheeling I do. I like Bilstein, have had them but now prefer Old Man Emu suspension products.

I second the BFG AT's.

I have been looking at the BFG A/T. Are they really noisy? Anyone had any luck with the Yokohama Geolander A/T's

I just put Bilstein 4600's on my '01 Tacoma, along with my second set of BFG's...great set up...

The Bilstein 4600s are what Toyota uses in their TRD suspension packages...So probably a good choice.

The BFG A/T's are not noisy at all IMO, with the window down it's noisy enough to drowned out any noise if there were any. Even rolling up to a stop I can't hear em. 31x10.5x15 on a 2000 Tacoma 4x4

I've had BFG AT's on every rig I've owned. They are awesome. They last a long time and work in about every situation. They look great on a Toyota as well. Here's a debate question for everyone: white letters in or out?

White letters in on all three of my rigs. Michelin AT2's on my 4Runner(excellent tire IMHO)

I have gone white letters in on everything I have put tires on. If I had, let's say, an FJ40 that was completely stock I would probably go white letters out.
