I've been doing a fair bit of Mud surfing on the topic but can't quite find the right set of posts to set my mind straight. I'm gearing up for a 3-4 week long ~4000mi trip in my 2013 LX570. Wandering down out of Alberta to visit family and generally get into some trouble chasing trout and dirt two tracks. My LX has stayed pretty unmolested and its doing fine but it's not too far from needing new shoes. They aren't so far gone that it's a safety concern, but with a few trails in mind, I'm inclined to bite the bullet early and also net an upgrade!

I'm only running 275/65 18's Wildpeaks on TRD Tundra rims with Bora 1.25" spacers. Suspension is stock AHC tricked to maximize the available lift. I've been aiming for 295/70 R18s as the next step up. My only real concern at the moment is if I drop new rubber on with 9 days till we roll out, am I going to be chasing rubbing the whole 4k miles! I would re-align the rig with the new tires but I don't have much time to massage fender liners etc... It does also appear from the posts I can find that folks agree that 295/70 will fit under the rear (spare) can anyone actually confirm that before I pull the trigger??

Thanks all!!!
