...so I awoke the fleet from hibernation.
Started putzing around the yard yesterday, and got a little carried away with my tug straps and now have little pile of shrubbery and cedar stumps to deal with.
After that little energy burst was over, I figured it was too quiet out and decided to fire up the 40. The battery only had enough juice to barely move the gauges, but after a little bit of power from the 81, it roared to life. And I do mean roar, throttle is still sticking
.
So then I took it for a little burn around the block, and since the path to the 45 was now clear, the 81 moved into CPR position on it.
I haven't fired the 45 up in quite some time, but a few minutes of cranking to get the old black s*** circulating, some pumps of the pedal, and putputputputputputput....the old 2f purred away happily.
Now I gotta figure out what to with them damn stumps and roots, too big for the recycling center to take. Maybe a trip up to Eagle Ridge
