Calling all tire gurus. The stock tire on my LX was a 285 50 20 Michelin Latitude which I gathered from threads around here is not a great tire. When it came time to replace them I went with a 275 55 20 Michelin Premier LTX due to the high ratings on tire rack. Had an alignment done when they were installed and always keep them inflated to 33 psi cold. I noticed recently that all the edges are badly cupped. I had the alignment re-checked and it is still good. The shop told me the Premiers I have are H rated, vs the V rated stock tire. They said this may be responsible for the abnormal wear due the difference in sidewall construction. Has anyone ever heard of this before, or should I be looking for other issues that may have caused the wear? Tires only have 11k on them at this point, and have been rotated twice in that period. Thanks!
