I have recently put a 2" ironman lift on my truck and also have a set of 18" tundra wheels to Throw on. I am having a hard time deciding on what size to put on. 285/75/18 is what I'm leaning towards but for some reason think I'll wish I had gone bigger. What what size 18's are you guys running with a lift?

You will be encouraged to search on this topic, and you should--there is much discussion and minimal consensus.
In the meantime here's what I've got:

1. Suspension lifts don't affect the tire size you're able to fit.
2. "Fit" depends on usage.

I've searched, I've read, and sometimes you just can't find the right answer.

How does a lift not affect the size tire you can run?

Regardless of torsion bar or coil spring, your wheels still track through the same arc. Lifting via spring rate or spacer just moves your static position to a different location along that arc, and your suspension is not a static system.

As far as keeping that suspension arc fully usable (no problematic rubbing), staying at or below 34" diameter at factory back spacing is a good rule of thumb.
