Hey everyone, Happy new year! I have not have the opportunity to meet any of you guys but hopefully i will make it to one of the meetings this year. I have two FJ40 that I am starting to put together and one of them have good new tires. They are going to dry and crack if i dont do something soon. Any suggestions in what i should do? Thanks

Have they already started to dry rot? If they have there is not much you can do. If not, they at the very least armour all them all up.
 
I'd suggest 303 Protectant, it actually bonds with the rubber to protect it and doesn't have the chemicals that will eat the rubber. They won't be as shiny as some VatoZone junk, but 303 does work very well.

If possible, don't store them outside either - a garage or something with less direct sunlight and exposure to airborne chemicals would be good.

I was going to email you to see how it was coming along. I was behind you on Woodlawn the other day. I recognized the TRD Stickers black wheels on the 4runner. I'd love to come by and check out the project.

Yes, You can come. I am working on the front doors now. It is going slow because of the winter but I am trying to do the easy stuff during the winter. I need to start the engine to see what i need to fix but i thinks I am in good shape. Let em know when you want to stop by. I got a truck at home and another in concord.
