I recently took the tire pressure down from 46 psi to 36 psi. It seems to help reduce travel on rutted highways. Problem is the sensor light won't go out after reset. Is this because factory setting is 46 psi? Is there a way to run this pressure and get the light to go out? Does system also monitor the spare?

Each wheel has its own monitor. The light will go out when you reach the minimum pressure that turnoff the monitor, usually around 40psi. Comes back on below that. I regularly deflate to 15psi off-road and the light is on until I air up when Im done. I run 55psi on KM2's, I like the least rolling resistance on the highway, gets the "best" mileage it can.

Yeah, that's the answer I thought i'd get. Up here in Washington the roads are terribly rutted so the truck has a hard time staying straight unless i'm in the passing lane. Seems to do better with less air.
