My 2007 100 series Landcruiser has 4 tires that are almost due to get changed because of the wear on them. I never used the spare tire and did a mistake of not servicing with tire rotation.

The present tires are 285/60R18. I’m planning to put in 275/60R18 on the same wheels. But if I do get get the 275s I would have to get 5 of those tires. And not 4, unlike if I get the 285s ( but I don’t want/require the 285s)
-And I’m trying not to spend money at this point of time due to personal reasons.
-I’m planning to sell this LC after this winter since there is rust building up.

1) Can I buy 4 275s and have the 285 as the spare tire?
2) what are some of the most economical 275 R18 tires that work for all seasons?
3) Are slightly used tires fine to buy?

Thanks,
Desert

It’s probably 75 or 70

Iand because the 100 is awd u will need all tires that match in height.
So if u have 285/75/18 u will probably need 275/80r18 to match spare

What did you end up going with? I have 5 like-new 285/60/18 2020 takeoffs if you are interested

Got 4 take off 275/65/18 tires bud. I probably would have taken your 5 if it was a month ago.
All good, just wanted to check! I’m new to this portion of the forum, but I’ll be sure to check in more regularly on local happenings 👍
