hi, I am in Sunderland, MA with an 83 BJ60. My rim just rusted through and I'm looking for 4 rims and tires ( if the rims are a different size from my old ones). I have had my LC off the road for a couple of years but ready to get it out there again! Thanks! Karen

What kind of rims
You looking for and what size tires? I'm
In granby mass right down the road from you

15 " rims...right now I have 31 x 10.5 tires. Just looking to find something that works :) Tires and rims or rims to fit those tires.

Hey Maggdog, I have a set of 60 rims that came on a troopy I bought from John awhile back. They need some cleaning up, but they are in great shape. I pulled one out and spent a minute or so with a powerwasher to give you a look. The tires on them are old, but have tread and no signs of dry rot. I would replace them though. I have no idea how old they are and its been 10-12 years since they were on the troopy.

They look pretty good! Do you know the rim width? How much are you asking? Thanks for cleaning one up I appreciate it!

Mad Jack don't worry about the rim width, just let me know what you're asking for them, they look great!

Let me dig the other three out and make sure they are in as good a shape then I'll get you a price. They are 16" tall skinnies....

I got them out. They need cleaning up but look as good as the first one. I was thinking that if you are interested I was thinking of asking $125.00 for the set. If you want them, I can set them aside for you. Payment I am asking for you to donate that amount to Dave Morin's Family through the gofundme site here at this link: Click here to support Love Fund for the Dave Morin Family by Jenn Merritt

If you would rather me do it I can do that too. We can either try to mud ship them your way or make some other arrangements. Dave is a great guy and I know his family can use any and all help. Let me know what you think! Thanks Maggdog

Ok! One question...if I have 15" rims now, can I run 16's? I would be happy to send the money to Dave's family, and will add some from me as well. Thanks for pulling them out and checking them Mad Jack!

Yes, from what I understand, you can. 15" rims were standard in the US. 16" was standard in Europe and AU. I actually think you would have a better choice of tire in the 16", but that is just my opinion.

Done! I made a donation of $150 under my name, and in the section where one can comment I said that the donation is from "Mad Jack of the 'Cruiser community"... I hope that's OK!
