I have a lead on 5 37x12.50x17 cooper stt tires. Date code is 9th week of 2007. Tires are new and have been stored inside.

Price is 950.

Thoughts on age and price?

Shoot for lower.

Age and quality of tires over age has to do with a lot.... stored in a nice cool place out of sunlight??? treated with chemicals while stored?? and ply rating, thickness of rubber and of course overall quality manufacturing of the rubber used by the manufacturer. Luckily Cooper does an excellent job at making quality tires.

The price seems ok but for tires that are almost 6 years old now i'd go lower on them if they look good.

Thanks Al.

Tires look perfect and stored appropriately.

What type of offer are you thinking. I don't want to low ball and be a dick.

Not too much lower, 850-900. In reality the $950 is pretty good, its just the unknowns that are scary with old tires
