Hello,

While driving this weekend, I spun the steering wheel from lock to lock with one hand, and my wedding ring pinched the steering wheel and put three small cuts into the leather wrapped around the wheel.

Sorry for the horrible pic :\

Anyhow, I'm looking for ideas or ways to prevent this from wearing and tearing from normal use...

My first thought was to put seem type of "glue/sealant" over it that could prevent it from further tearing. It's so tiny right now, I'd like to figure out how to keep it that way.

Any ideas or suggestions are very welcomed

The place that recovers is in Outside of Dallas I don't know what part of Texas you are in

Austin. So I assume I'd have to ship them the wheel get it recovered...

That's pretty bad, you might have to sell that rig :)

All kidding aside, give Furniture Clinic a call. They sell product to fill micro-tears in leather, but probably don't have the perfect color match.
