Does anyone know where the COG, i.e. center of gravity is on an FJ Cruiser. IOW how steep a side slope is possible before you begin to fear rollover? I think the manual says something like 30%. But it seems like the articulation should give you close to that. So . . . 60% slope? Anybody out there remember their trig?

Or do I misunderstand articulation?

Thanks. I'm new to extreme 'wheeling.

I'm not certain what the official numbers are however, I've had my inclimeter pegged in all four directions.

Ok I guess the answer is 'don't sweat it'. Looks like you'd slide long before you tipped. I guess the sailor in me was looking for a capsize point, apparently not an issue. The other thread said just let a 40 go in front of you so I guess their COG is higher than the FJC. And obviously anything with much lift would be as well.
Thanks guys.

Just a little trivia for you. A few of us went wheeling with one of the Trail Team guys a few weeks ago. He said that the backside of the inclinometer ball is WHITE. They were apparently looking at the ball while driving on the SEMA course and noticed that the backside of the ball is white when going down the face of the table tops. So if you see white, you better hang on!
