tip on painting aqualu aluminium fenders

HI! I'd like to have some tips on how to make a good rattle can paint job on alunimium fenders. Painting on aluminium is new to me. This ain't a showroom truck, just a good old 71 'cruiser who REALLY needs new fenders

Painting Aluminum

Sand it smooth than paint it with a self-etching primer. I bought some in a rattle can at NAPA. Then you can top coat it with regular spray paint, whatever you wish. Good Luck!!!
