Let me start by saying I've read most of the FAQs. I have a 2000 LX470 I recently bought with 176,000 miles from my local Nissan Dealer. I did get a pre-inspection, paid $9000 for it and my dealer did $3000 of maintenance including a new starter, new tires, wheel bearings, etc. I got the carfax and couldn't find any sign of a timing belt replacement. I checked lexus.com and can only find maintenance done at the Lexus dealer so I guess I have to assume it wasn't done?

So my plan is to get it done along with the water pump, heater/radiator hoses, T's etc unless there's a way another way besides carfax and lexus.com to see if it was done.

Thanks for this and all of your help so far!

Best Regards,

Chuck

Even if it was done on schedule at 90k it is due again anyway. You've checked everything so at this point have it fine and have the peace of mind.

Thanks I'll take it in next week. So timing belt, water pump, hoses, Ts, etc in May, suspension in June, sliders in July, taking it up to Yellowstone and Montana in August ...
