haha im sure he will grow to like it. How is driving on the "right" side of the road?

Took Oswald for his first walk this afternoon down to work. A little slop in the steering that takes some getting used to (esp at 55mph) but overall good. Only killed it a few times... trying to go up a hill at a stop... take some getting used to... not used to thinking that hard while driving...

you will get used to it to where you dont even think about it, how do you like the RHD?

RHD has not been an big issue, other then getting on the interstate durring rush hour. I NEED to get a turbo on there, and some 33 or 35 inchers. the previous owner had 35s on there... but I'm not sure if i want to go that big... but i want the rubber overdrive...

Most likely. From the looks of it, if you connect the hose running parallel with the valve cover and the one running behind the head from the US Driver's side you would by pass the heater core.

I am assuming the heater core is leaking or something?

No, the blower is not working (even putting 12v dc to it) so i am going to remove everything and sell it to fund my AC/Heat Install.

I have a blower sitting in my garage...not sure its working or not. I'll check it if you are interested.

What is this AC you speak of?

Hey, not all of us are lucky enough to have a soft top...

I'm not sure if it is the wiring or the blower. If it had not been 38 when Jim dropped off the brake parts I would have asked him to help be figure it out. Instead i sent him back to his warm hotel before it got late. :)

More projects.

I am thinking of just replacing the heater with an aftermarket one from JC Whitney for now.

I wish I had a soft top!

I have my one-piece hard top on right now. My heater keeps it nice a toasty during the winter. I usually go "top-less" during the warmer month.

Will the top come off the Troopy? If it hasn't ever been removed, don't do it or the sealing won't ever be the same.

Hey, check out TPI. The have an AC kit, TPI4x4

If you call them, tell Bob I sent you. He was at the New Year's Run earlier this month.

If i take the top off the troopy, I am geting a paki softtop anyways. :)

I finally found my cutoff disk, and started to trim the front bumper. Ran into a slight issue... my compressor can't handle the CFM needed to drive the cutoff wheel!! :(

I got about an inch cut before i gave up. I think i am just going to get a jig saw, and some metal cutting blades to do most of the trimming. Good news though, i put the wire brush into my die grinder and it works like a charm. so that will be a little faster then the drill. (even if i have to wait 5 minutes between the tank refilling with air) :)

l have a couple of good grinders that work well with with cutoff discs, ive also have a new little 140 linclon welder.

Pneumatic die grinders can't compare to the usefulness of a nice 4.5" electic grinder. My $45 one from Lowe's has lasted me forever and I abuse the crap out of it on rather large projects quite regularly. You need one.

All you need is a 4.5" grinder and a 120V welder and you have yourself a fabrication shop.
