I have a PZJ75 (early 90s model) and I need tie rod ends. I dont have time to wiat for them to come from Canada. Are they different from 20 and 60 series tie rod ends?
(Or any other vehicle available in America)

Thanks!

Yea I pretty sure tie rod ends are one of the very few parts that actually come up on worldpac

From rock auto here are some part numbers, these are for 60 series, I'm not 100% sure they interchange, but you should be able to figure it out using toyodiy.com

MOOG Part # TOES4380 Front Axle Left, Centre
MOOG Part # TOES2591 Front Axle, Right, Outer
MOOG Part # TOES2594 Front Axle, Outer, Left

I just confirmed for myself on toyodiy those do all interchange from a 60 and 70 series
That will save ya some bucks off the cost of toyota ones and the moog parts are usually better then OEM.... Maybe even made in USA!

Yikes

I found them at Toyota, they will order them for me at close to $150.00 each side. For now I will just tie it back togehter with nylon cord:hillbilly: It is a surprisingly strong redneck fix.

There are only two tie rod ends on my front end... this indicates there are three.. hass me worried.. I will probably buy the two that look like they will fit. the risk is worth the potential savings.

You can return anything that doesn't fit... Get all 3 and return the one u don't need...

Make sure you find a 5% discount code online for rock auto
just google "rockauto discount codes"

UPDATE!!

Hopefully some other smuck will read this one day and not follow the exact path the first smuck followed (that would be me)

The Rock auto tie-rods are not the right ones. Plus they have them online but none available.

If someone is reading this I recommend the following. Contact 4wheelauto in Canada, buy the tie-rod end kit from them (best quality available) and while it is steep (over $200) for the kit you get all four
Good luck

Hi all,

Cruiser Outfitters in Utah lists 70 Series TRE kits on their web site.

Another vender to consider is RaddCruisers on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. They are experienced with both LHD and RHD 70 Series.
