I would like to see one of the defective manifolds that has been removed and the exact failure point shown so I can see where it leaks from.

there is a pic here someplace.

I put up with mine for a year. Told myself it was the injectors for quite a while. I had DTs put on 2.5 weeks ago and love them. Forget the tick. A little more power- honest power is nice to have.

Both my Dr and Pass sides were cracked - at the foremost tube where it meets the flange. Drivers side was almost completely around. iPhone pic doesn't show it. Maybe I'll get my Nikon on macro mode- but for now:

Interestingly, my exhaust tick noise became less noticeable after changing engine mounts. Now you have to put your ear in the wheelwell to hear it, plus the motor is more quiet in general. This saved me a bunch of money installing headers as I don't see the need now.

The lifetime warranty does not apply to the original equipment installed at the factory - thus the limited mileage / time associated with the factory warranty.

The lifetime warranty Nick referred to is for genuine parts installed at the Toyota dealership after the fact.

ie You had a muffler fail at 90k and you went to your local dealer and they replaced it (you paid parts and labor) - that replacement would carry lifetime warranty.
