I have been reading here and on the FJ Cruiserforum about all the problems with the throw-out bearing and bellhousing in the 6-spd manual transmission. Apparently, the Tacoma trucks with 6-spd have the same problems since they use the same trans.
I was wondering if the newer models are any different. For 2010 models, it maybe too early to find out, but what about the 2009? Any ideas?

Cheers,

P.S. Does the auto transmission have any such snags or is it relatively problem-free??

I read a number of posts in the FJC forum and many talked about a TSB to correct the problem. I searched high and low without success, until I came across this one with difficulty (it is a cashed version, original is NLA). I wonder if it is the right TSB? It has been released only 3 weeks ago.
