Throttle sticking - help - (video included)

Hey Guys

My05 100 series, 5 speed Amazon is having some weird issues

there are some other symptoms, like when crusing at 2500rpm, and i let go of the accelerator, it just keeps rev's up,and they wont drop for a while
Also, i can be cruising at 2500rpm and suddenly the rev's go very high, and then drop again....if i dont let go of accelerator immediately, the car engages a gear and jolts forward, if i let go of accelerator, the rev return to idle, and i can continue driving ok without the jolt

Its not the throttle sensor thing by your foot, the garage swoped that with another car and it had same issue
They took the EGR apart and it was blocked, so cleaned it all out, but same issues are present

any ideas what it could be?
the next thing to get is an air intake assembly which costs a fortune, and they aren't 100% sure it will solve the issue, so i want to be sure its the fix before shelling out that amount of cash

I wouldn't be looking at the air intake, fuel delivery is what controls your revs, or oil is getting into the cylinders. Modern diesels need to be diagnosed by the experts with proper diagnostic equipment. At a guess I would say injectors or oil entering intake. Parts are to expensive to guess. I used to fix diesels, its why I would never own one. Sorry.
