I was drumming through some old posts on removing and cleaning the Thrody Bottle. Didn't see anything said about replacing the gasket between the T.B. and intake chamber. Maybe that's because it's a no-brainer, but are you guys typically doing this when removing the T.B.?

Thanks,

Nope. It's a metal gasket. I've pulled the throttle body many times and never replaced the gasket.

Drew, the fsm does say to replace it and I have noticed that a new gasket distorts when fitted. I have re-used it a couple of times now but I would say you should not do it too often.

I've taken to putting a bit of gasket sealer (anaerobic) on the gasket when I reassemble it. Didn't see a reason not to since it's all over the rest of the intake system for the S/C kit. Not sure it's needed though. ::)
