"Gas tank needs to be replaced with fuel cell in a new location. Rear Fenders will need to be cut out to allow room for tire in new location. Rear corner body mounts must be removed to allow room for the tire during suspension articulation. Rear drive shaft will need to lengthened. Brake line must be relocated. Must fabricate new lower shock mounts. Uses a Rancho RS9000 shock. (Part # RS9010) Rear Traction Link HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. *No parts are supplied to make these modifications.*"
Weren't you already flipping your rear springs? Once the rear springs are flipped what does that add for length. After that how much more do you gain with this kit? Do you reallly feel you need the extra length?
Its up to you but I probably wouldn't due to the fact that I am cheap and it seems like a lot of mods and money for little gain (granted you don't have to do the gas tank). "designed to work with Jeep XJ rear leaf springs" also do you really want to put Jeep parts on your rig?![]()
I agree it doesn't seem like a money saver lane. You're rear springs should not be centered, not trying to be a dick but you should go measure them again along the arc of the spring with help from someone. If they really are centered get different cruiser springs and flip them. I have both stock springs flipped and I like the wheelbase It is stable and I can still turn around on our tight new england trails. It's a good wheelbase until you link it.
As for a track bar you need a good one. Mini's didn't come with them but if u use soft springs they are not an option I destroyed a set of springs on my 4runer not running one. After seeing a proper one on Fox's comp truck I would run one if u run a decent soft spring and or it is sprung over especially if it's sprung over with cruisers it's not an option.
