I'm continuously trying to learn what to look for, when it comes to rust on the 200-series.

So far, I haven't had much luck in my search for a "rust-free" truck, but I recently found this one. The seller sent me these underbody shots. By first glance it looks good to me, but am I missing something?

What do you guys think?

Looks pretty good to me. Mostly surface level stuff

That looks pretty good.

If this is a 2021 Heritage with 3 miles on it and they're asking $150k its one thing, if its a 2008 with 400k miles on it and they're asking $15k for it, its another.

Overall, it does not look too bad. But again, IMO it really depends on the age, miles and price in the context of things.

From the saturation of the black colors in the picture I assume it had rust protection spraying applied at some point, not recently. That is a good thing.
Rust wise being from 2008 (no idea how many miles) it looks very good.

Thank you so much for the input! The truck has 106k miles on it, so it is not expected to be in poor condition based on its use. But, on the other hand, I have seen cars with less mileage that looked worse.
