This weird thing is on my dash.. any idea what it is?

The top screws off to reveal two different sized holes. Looks like an inlet for something.

Any idea what this is? there seems to be three connectors on the underside. a ground, a positive, and another, so i'm guessing some kind of switch? I dont even know.

Yep power supply.I use them in my hj75 and boat. Remove the little screw on the side and push centre up from underneath then you can disconnect power cable. i use them because it is a good solid screwed together terminal. Ebay if you want the other part.

Cool, I see. Do you use it connected to an auxiliary ? I bought an(other) ex-camper troopy and I suspect some things have been removed prior to selling.

I have one on the tray for my fridge and when spot lighting. It is just another power outlet but a solid screwed together connection. By the way it only has +&- so don't know what the third wire is. Just chase wires back . Oh and clean that dash it is a disgrace.

lol. I just bought the thing. Took these photos on the drive back to Sydney from Bris ~ Cleaning will happen soon.... starting with the roaches under the floormats.
