I feel ya. I'm learning as we get older, we don't have less problems, we just figure out how to deal with them. Sometimes, they get over shadowed by bigger issues... sometimes they just disappear. Hang in there.
I wanna go to Moab (again) too! lemme know when you go! We'll take the mtn bikes as well!
 
Landspeeder you are exactly right! Whatever the obstacle you get over it! Like my new shirt says "put it in 4 low and get over it" hehe

But if I thought I could have rig expedition ready by the end of the summer I'd say then! Haha I was thinking closer to home first heh

We just got back from our trip through the Cherokee and pisgah national forest. I feel that you could spend days off road in the Cherokee. The Unaka wilderness is pretty cool too. The trip from the unaka to cherokee is mixed paved and gravel but many milesof itisalong the French broad and tributaries (really a beautiful part of the country).

I'm thinking about doing Cruise Moab '13 with a buddy in TX if he's up for it again. Would be cool to have some other folks from DLC to caravan out and camp with us. We had a blast in '11. Hoping to take the wife and daughter next go round. While things are on the subject of epic-bucket-list-road-trips...
 
Right now this isn't an option with my current 60, you know with the whole chop and bob thing I just did not exactly expedition ready. I am currently looking for LC or maybe FJ cruiser and turn it into a camping/safari/expedition rig. If I can come across a decent LC/FJ (00-10) I'd go ASAP. I'm trying to replace my DD Tahoe with what I just described

It's in Georgia. We went to SC for it last year. I'll caravan.
