Hello guys, have a 2000 LC and have only had it a few months. I've been lurking on the forum and finally have a chance to contribute and learn more.

The truck is in great condition but the rear seats are folded down and on the ground, really had no need to use them so didnt even touch them until today.

I tried to flip the drivers side up and it would not swivel upwards so upon closer examination, I noticed that the rearmost seat bracket was not seated (for lack of a better word) inside the rearmost hole. I thus removed the entire seat and when I tried to reinstall the seat, it wont even do into the frontmost hole.

Any experience or advice?

Assuming that you removed it while laying flat....I'd say the first thing to do is get it into the folded-up-to-the-side-of-the-vehicle mode, for lack of a better way to explain it. You'll need to use the trigger grip style handle to get it that way - grip, then turn it (might be kind of awkward not mounted to anything). That lever allows the seat to pivot and slide, relative to the rail. It needs to be in that folded-to-the-wall mode to install or remove. This is the only reason I can think that it would not go back into place (unless something fell into the mount and is physically blocking it). Without the seat in front of me... I hope that helps, but that's how I do mine. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
