Joining the 200 club. Going down to Texas to look at an 08. Other than the obvious, does anyone have any suggestions on specific things I should pay particular attention to when inspecting this LC? Thanks.

Does it have the upgrade package? Which includes, heated rear seats, wood trimmed steering wheel and cool box in the center storage area.

Yes it does.

I have not heard of any issues with the 200 series. The numbers sold are really low and most of these folks are not on mud.

Nothing other than the normal used-car checks. Mine had issues with the driveshaft within the first couple of weeks. It was fixed by Toyota and has not given me any other issues and I have almost 60k on it and have beat the **** out of it when wheelin' it. I also had an issue with an o-ring in the brake master cylinder. If you have this issue (unlikely), the pedal will feel like it goes to the floor and the vehicle fights you to stop. I think the upgrade package also has the rear seat entertainment too. The kiddos use it all the time.

Good luck!

Gentlemen....... . . . . I have arrived.

Pics to come. Impressions: alot quieter than the 40. And yes, that 5.7 is something else! Bought it used, its at the dealership now getting a look over. Hopefully no major issues other than a change of oil.

Congrats!!! Put the door trim on and lift it. Also tint all the way around. I love my truck more sense adding these options. Enjoy!

Yes, tint, powder coat wheels black... .. .all on the list. What is this "door trim" you speak of?

Pictures and impressions? the 5.7 has to be great!

Congrats! Now the real expenses come into play...bumpers, lifts, tires, winches...and on and on. :-)
