And i almost forgot.

Flex the heck out of your suspension now before coming up there. I have let mine sit in a ditch in front of the house for days flexing. Can also use good jack stands for this.

Make sure when you did tighten the suspension up the first time it was with all the weight of the vehicle on it. And do not over tighten it where it starts crushing the bushings.

Using a winch mounted to a winch tray that inserts into a 2" receiver is actually quite common. The bumper that I build for the FJ Cruiser comes stock with a 2" receiver for just this purpose. If you wire the front and rear with quick disconnects it makes it very easy to use the winch on both front and rear. Just make sure that the 2" receiver is properly mounted to the frame.

Most companies that sell winches also sell winch trays made for this. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Man, I just threw out my old winch tray!! Sorry south that :D

The most important thing is to not forget that you're driving and old truck that may have a few hiccups its first time out. We'be got a real good group here, so if you encounter any problems, someone will be able to help

You should take jane to ure this weekend for testing....then you can have her dialed in for logans run

Also gotta tell you that when we put on the bilsteins tonight, the huz had bought 3 different size cotter pins - the ones that were too big - I rolled em up and said "guess youre going in my uwharrie box"
