Anyone know the BIB shim thickness measurement, I am wanting to make one from rubber since they are discontinued.

Thanks

Hmmm ,That depends Ive had diff thicknesses just so I could get all the lines straight in the clip .Anywhere 1/4 in up or down, all I did was cut several rectangulur pieces out of a type 36 air brake booster rubber ( wont compress that bad).

ok, I will try and source some, I will go heavy and I guess can always shave down, would poly do better? I am going to put under BIB, radiator bracket, battery trays, and side steps.

this part is still available from $pecter offroad it's perfect and you can spend your time doing something more usefull to the cruiser

The bib shim is no longer available, but i know the others are but they were made of a thick canvas type material which holds moisture which eventually turns into rust. Therefore I am changing to rubber
