They're available now and cheap. Is Toyota going to keep receiving or making the '68 to '81 (mid school) hubcaps?
Wow, I just bought 2 with holes and 3 without this spring from McGeorge Toyota.
IDK, I bought mine from Summit. Im pretty sure you want 12mm x 1.5 threads. If those Toyota lug nuts are anything like the ones they sell for my Camry they are junk, imo. I find most auto manufacturers use a lug nut encapsulated with a layer of sheet metal and over time the sheet metal deforms/expands and it becomes difficult to get a socket on them. When I purchased these they were 5 or 6 bucks for 4. Idk, what they are now.
Still available anywhere else, lot of providers for this part, and it only says "Currently Unavailable" for whatever reason of TPD.
Thanks, it seems the 255/85R16 are what I'm seeing on these wheels. I'll check out the tire carrier, that's my concern as well.I had to add the 4 plus tire carrier as I was concerned about the extra weight on the body

15 52 are close and there’s a company out of the UK that was building for FJCo.Resurrecting this old thread, but I think that the FJ Company went out of business.Their website doesn't work, their phone goes to voicemail and they haven't responded to the multiple emails I've sent them. I think it's fair to conclude they are out of business. Well that sucks because I really like their "alloy steelies."
You can get similar alloy wheels in 17" size. Fifteen52 analog HD and Nomad 504 Field. You can put OEM or OEM style hubcaps on both, Nomad offers the hubcaps separately from the wheels and the wheel has accommodations for installation. The Fifteen52 requires the end user to drill and tap the wheel to mount the OEM 40 series hubcaps, rather you install hubcap clips or install the hubcap directly to the face of the wheel.Resurrecting this old thread, but I think that the FJ Company went out of business.Their website doesn't work, their phone goes to voicemail and they haven't responded to the multiple emails I've sent them. I am not crazy about the Nomad 504 field....something about the 6 holes clashes with my OCD and the gray is waaay off so I would have to get them powder coated (there goes another 5 or 600 bucks for 5 wheels). The Fifteen52 looks a lot better, but drilling into a brand new wheel gives me the heebie jeebies. Has anyone done that or is it just theoretical at this point? I'd like to see the end result before I go drilling into them. Finally, the City Racer 16" wheels are nice too, but $2,000+ for steel wheels is hard to swallow (that includes $450 for shipping and ~$200 in tariffs). You can get similar alloy wheels in 17" size. The only person who will notice the noted differences is you, everyone else will gawk and drool. I personally like the lighter grey over the darker grey of the FJCO wheels, but both options are more than I want to spend on wheels so I stick with OEM steelies. Still lots of great tire size options for 15" wheels IMO. @clrussell did the Fifteen52's with OEM 40 series hubcaps, pretty sure photos in multiple places but probably most detail in his build thread in the 40 series section. .I am not crazy about the Nomad 504 field....something about the 6 holes clashes with my OCD and the gray is waaay off so I would have to get them powder coated (there goes another 5 or 600 bucks for 5 wheels). I went to that rabbit hole of a thread and found it. I think this is what I will end up doing. The end product just looks so darn good on your 40 !! Thank you @EWheeler and @Chungas Revenge for the original idea!
