I found a guy in WI that rip cuts large logs down the center, and I picked up a single piece of wood from him. Its the center of a white pine tree, 10ft long, around 2 ft wide and 3in thick, kiln dried. Ive been striping the bark, and sanding it. It should work pretty good. The top is pretty much done and the face is also almost done.
