I started this process on August 22nd. Trying to get a head start on the shackles and the overall cleaning and prep for the lift.

Meanwhile Ups loses my parts so I’m the mean time I have

1) painted the truck with Rustoleum mostly one color

2) sold my roof rack, bought load bars

3) cleaned up engine bay with new washer bottle, overflow, paint, etc

4) installed stereo

5) added Noico in all the side panels.

I guess it was a good thing I was down and waiting for parts after-all......

Done.

Long day. 7:30-2:30 pretty much solid Pig time.

Here are my thoughts.

Just like all OME suspensions there is zero chance of the bushings going into the fixed hangers. They have ridges in the sides.

Grind them until those ridges disappear.

I even had to bend the ears out a bit

No real other surprises on the front

You need lots of jackstands and such

The only thing I found in the rear was I had to remove the plastic shock cover to clear my exhaust.

The rear shackle angles are great. I went back 4” (this is stuffed)

Stance is nice.

19" After Lift? Stance is spot one. 33x10.50's correct?

It was 19” from the center of wheel up to the under side of the fender before lift.

Now it is around 23” to 23.5” so it cam up 4” and that is with 3 leaves pulled.

More later. Driving.

Proper

Where is the "F*#k-yeah" button?

Keep in mind this is with 3 leafs out of the back pack.

@onemanarmy lets see those numbers for yours with the full pack.

I’ve got a rattle in the front. Has anyone ever had those plastic shock covers make noise? Really sounds like that could be the noise.

i've got the numbers, just keep forgetting to post it up.

From memory, our numbers are very close.

Do you get a rear driveline vibe? I get vibes around 35-40 mph and continues on.....it goes away for the most part when I press in the clutch.

I have not driven it much yet but did notice vibration.

Got a few more miles in today. No vibrations. A little drivers side lean. Settling in for a nice rake. Should handle a little load without squatting.

So far so good. It rides great. Need an alignment

in high cotton, high in the cotton? Something like that.

Looks great. Thanks for the bushing tech, ive got a heap of spares from my bj42 (in yellow too!) So theyll get a similar treatment. Just a question though are those shocks the right way round? Ive always seen the shafts on the bottle rather than the top like you do.. wonder if its a ome thing?
