BT is only for lepodoptera, if I spelled that right, as in moth and butterfly larva. Earth worms are in a different family called segmented worms.
And they have to ingest the product. They pick it up while eating, and is the most effective or quickest acting on those worms that eat a lot/very fast ie: cut worms, tomato horn worms.
Exactly, that's why it's a good choice. It's also harmless to humans.

Last of the big garlic out today. By far the best garlic harvest I've ever grown. Onion season is about to start. I planted 60, so my breath is going to be brutal until fall, but I'll be eating good.

Jalapeños and sweet banana peppers are coming in well. Tons of tomatoes coming in too, just not ripe yet. Have about 8 different heirlooms going right now. My tobasco pepper plant and sweet bell plant aren't doing so great.

I plan to harvest tomorrow.

I hung the bulbs to dry in the garage the whole garage smells like fresh garlic.

This is the storage garlic. I dry it for a week or so then put it in the fridge in a paper bag. It will keep for many months that way. I have other garlic we can use fresh.

What's that green stuff that the garlic is laying on?

Got my first three ripe tomatoes yesterday. Just cherries. They were eaten immediately after this photo was taken.

An archaic landscaping plant called "grass". Mass plantings are referred to as a "lawn" or "turf", silly concept in the desert but some traditions die hard. If I had my way I'd rip the grass up in that part of the yard and plant pinto beans.

I keep a salt shaker in the "bird house" where I store twine, scissors etc. The Cherry tomatoes rarely make it inside the house.

I have about 4-5 grocery bags full of big heirloom tomatoes on the vine right now. Just waiting for them to ripen. I can't wait to see what crazy colors we get this year!

Kill it, that stuff is evil.

It's the damn finches around here. They're no problem most of the year. But as soon as it hits triple digits, they turn on my veggies.
