Looks like a tractor tire.
NICE!

Bias ply, it would be nice if they could make them look retro and incorporate modern technology.

Coker is largely a bias ply tire company. A lot of people hate them, but for rigs that sit in the sun for years with little accumulation of mileage, I think they are hard to beat. The sidewalls don't fall apart, and the caps don't split and fall off just due to sun and age. They may look like Charcoal, but they seem to hold together if not heavily loaded and driven at high speed. The load carrying capacity is reduced, but for trailers that sit around all the time, they work better for me. I've had radial tires that looked new, but blew out. I've had bias tires that were 15 years old carry the same load, the same speed and live for another day.

Not what I would recommend for your 40 though..... Your SquareSwampers illustrate an important issue with Death Wobble.

I started using tire covers on our RV's many years ago, they truly extend the life of the tires. Very inexpensive considering the cost savings.

I would have to agree with Rusty on that deal .Also you have the bias ply flat spot till they warm up for a trailer might not be bad but for a rig its a rough ride till they do get warmed up and looking at the tread design they are a directional tire as well have had bias plys and they are tough as nails but you sac some ride comfort for the roughness but all in all they are a pretty good tire if they stand up
