This is the iceberg colour (in Canada). There is a definite difference between the body and the roof (two different whites), but I think it looks pretty good in person.

that looks nice! I like the trail team badges -in 10 yrs I can see it like the 40th 80's, all the same but still everyone wants the 40th ;)

It's cool that Toyota is doing all these SE's and catering to the 4x4 crowd.

New member here and checking out the forums. Work for Toyota Corp in Torrance (sorry cannot talk bout stuff :frown:) but as a project manager for IS and Facilities. Just ordered the Trail Teams SE and it looks like I will have it in late Jan or early Feb. Plan on doing a "few" things to it, but also plan on "using it" as well. It looks better "in person"...

How did you have to put down and what is the price? And does anyone know what the MSRP will be?

Any word on rumors of a removable top version? Why don't you mention to your Toyota peers that we all want a solid axle instead of IFS :) Heck, better yet tell them to make it legal to import 70 series cruisers to the USA!!

So when is Toyota gonna make it's customers happy and do a FJ Cruiser recall on the rear diff so we don't have to break down first before getting it repaired at the dealer?

I am hoping someone with influence will convince Toyota to take care of the customers who bought the new FJ sight unseen (in person), especially since the early differential gears are a known problem.

Welcome to MUD.

Sent you a PM - work for Toyota at Corporate so we do not work with dealers on purchases or leases...

By the way, it looks great in person! Made me cancel my order for the Silver one with OR and CQ etc.

As my interest grows with the FJ and the communities (clubs groups etc) I will be looking into development/establishing a FJ group at TMS. There are a "few" off-roaders and enthusiasts here and many have FJs, Tacomas and 4-Runners as well as vintage / modified stuff. It is very early in the game considering for Toyota and the new FJ and focus is in racing and trail teams events.

Though I do not work in the auto/truck area we do have a way to "express" our ideas, and are responded to.

As far a legalizing the 70 series... well that is a whole other matter with too many gov, epa, dot, and other three or four acronymed agencies.

Yeah I was in the market to buy the next 2007 TRD I could find a good deal on, but now I am leaning towards waiting for the SE TT, just not sure I can wait til March....ouch!!

Any dealer you could reccomend? Every dealer in my neighborhood is clueless, I had to point them to the toyota website cause they didn't know what the SE TT was....lol. I live in OC but I don't mind driving to get a deal.

Sent you another PM... Dealers are a couple of different levels... Though the major owners or principals were at the Dealer show and trust me, they got word on the new vehicles coming... they may have not yet passed it down to the sales person level. Why... who knows. One may be the fact that they do not have pricing available and want you to buy current inventory. Dealers are a separate entity from Toyota Corp. though they are the customer facing representative. We support them every way possible, some are great, some are not so great.

Thanks for the info, hopefully will be getting my FJ soon and will see you on the trail!!
