The Old school National Geographic picture thread

So I recently found about 150 National Geographic magazines from the mid 60’s to early 70’s. I know that this is not even close to a rare find, but I have really gotten a kick out of going through some of them and only scratched the surface. I thought I would take some pictures of some of the stories and pictures I found interesting and post them here for anyone else that was interested to see.

That was the lure of hanging out at my buddy Barry's house when we were kids. His father had all the NGs on shelves. We were welcome to read through them. Put them back in order and wash your hands before you go through them. His father also collected LIFE as well and a couple others like Popular Mechanics and Popular Science. Shelves full of them.

I remember those Honda 70s , the ATCs used the tires as shocks, scary stuff if you tried to turn too sharp too fast.
