Onur is locked all the way around and has been wheeling his 80 for over a decade.... You have had your 80 for less than a year (correct?) and are open-open, I know you probably don't know Eric, but I assure you what you were channeling was most certainly Shunt pow-WA!! (that is haganese, long story that we will have to tell you around the fire next trip)

Yeah, had the 80 just under a year, but been wheeling Toyotas for about 5. I bought it unlocked because it checked all the other boxes I wanted and I was already planning to regear when I need new tires. At that point I'm going to throw ARBs or Aussie lockers in, still planning stuff out. Dugan almost has me talked in to 4.88 and 37s. Still debating though. 35s have never hindered anything I've done, but I hear 37s are mo betta.

Anyone ever seen one this big?!

my little babby sized nissan battery cant keep the freezer going all night and crank the truck the next morning.
I dont have room for a dual system under the hood, dont really have the $$ to run a second battery in the bed.... and one day I want 2 batteries in the trailer anyway....
so today, to get my truck back on the road, what battery do I buy?

On that fits under the hood of a Toyota :smokin:

Other than that, something deep cycle would probably be best if you will see regular drains.

I appreciate the link. I might have to try this myself.

10:45 and 15:30. It makes me lol that the turbos with the side pipe look like giant hair dryers. Crazy stuff. Someone needs to fly a bouncer out there to compete.

Obviously a satire piece. Did you read his bio?
About the Author: Chris Cordes
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Chris didn’t receive a real taste of the outdoors until moving to Prescott, Arizona, for college in 2009. While working on his business degree in the Embry-Riddle undergraduate program, he learned to fly and spent his weekends exploring the Arizona desert and high country. He fell in love with backcountry travel and four-wheel drive vehicles, which led him to Overland Journal and Expedition Portal. Chris was immediately hooked by the concept of overlanding, which combines the excitement and adventure of flying with his affection for cars and trucks. After receiving his degree, Chris did a summer internship with Overland International before accepting a full-time position on our team.

EDIT...or maybe not...

Absolutely true! Like I said, if there is beauty and cool destinations along the technical route im all for it! Some of my favorite routes have long stretches of technical terrain that keep the crowds away and present a great challenge as a driver. Its the off road parks and ugly trails with no point or purpose I dont get. That being said everyone has their own opinion!

Lunch today, @Land Speeder whatcha think?

So, I did this mod. https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/arb-fridge-would-be-cooler-if-it-opened-like-this.98524/

it didnt work for s***.

one screw immediately pulled out, and it doesnt open/close well. The fridge side caved/gave and otherwise bent. after less than 5 minutes and a dozen open/close the screws were loose and the lid flopped all around.

I am very hesitant about drilling into the case to put nutcerts, I am considering gluing some metal to the side and lid. Maybe cut up an old computer casing?

what else could I attach for support?

RTH needed. I blew a brake hose I believe.
Anyone got a male to female line in their spares bin?! No one seems to have anything in stock.
