I really wanted to avoid Atlanta on my way home. I was using my phone but I thought I had finally gotten the gps on my side and had it taking me the way I wanted to go.

When I came to a grinding halt at the gates of Atlanta I knew I was wrong.

15 minutes of stopped traffic boxed in, no where to go, no escape, zombies surely making their way through the feeding frenzy I decided I am going to get a laptop mount and gps puck that will talk to my Mac.

2 FJ cruisers my 80 and a lx 450 that blew its radiator on the trail.

I rode with Steve in his FJ and we did emergency repair when a rover blew its rear airbag. He went home on a pair of 2x4s ductaped together.

for the B'ham folks, y'all are gonna love these guys. They started in Atlanta a couple years ago and just now expanded into B'ham. Our ATL store has 60 growler taps and the best bottle selection anywhere.

The funny part is that ABC agents just raided them at gunpoint for stocking beer making supplies.

Sounds like ABC...no real surprise

Fortunately our resident brewmaster is finally completely legal to brew now.

Look at what I got...

Quality isn't all that good but it's a start..
They will be at the next meeting but if you want one before then PM me.

Nice, what are those banjos?

Also...
Some of you hear me talking about my brother in law and his plan to host a "expedition style ride" from Sylacauga to Piedmont through the forest. He is going to be looking for donations to a mission his family has started "helping kids in West Anniston"...
Any way to make a long story not so long we are going to do a scouting trip next Friday and Saturday. If you want to join us let me know.

Spent some time out at Barber today riding with a buddy who's a driving school instructor in his '73 911RS. Also took some pics of the other run groups. This was one of their friends that was driving with an instructor. This car makes somewhere in the 550-600hp range. It was fun to watch.

Man, sounds more fun than me, I only drove by the Barber plant just tooling around the city today...

Ok completely noncruiser related (well we drove there and back in one) but here is Jackson driving one to deep left center field in the bottom of the second. I timed this pic almost perfectly

Great form!
Where was this park? The Polo Grounds?... I mean, judging from the foul line and all...

Dude, awesome timing indeed. That's a sweet picture.

At cahaba heights elementary about 1.5 miles from your current digs.

I really wish I could highlight the ball more as it blends in the background.
