Drive side controlarm sway bar shock and track bar off.

Is there a trick to the 4 bolts that attach the driveshaft to the chunk? Iv got after then with wd40 I can't get them to budge.

You should be able to get a ratchet with extension on at least one, if not rotate the shaft to a point where you can.

I have a ratchet with cheater bar on the front. Wrench on the back. I have a little play in the drive shaft but once it locks in I can't budge anything. I rotated the shaft and tried another one just to make sure there wasn't one stubborn one. No luck. I can also get the impact on it. Nothing.

I'm trying to move the front side since its easier to work on. Do I need to be trying from the back a just holding the front in place?

More violence and swearing.

I agree...

When none of the above work I've used a small propane torch on suspension components in the past. Use at own risk type of method. The torch may just get it hot enough to allow for some play.
Some components may be hardened...I really don't know...as long as they are the right quality hardware the heat shouldn't impair use later on.

You can grab a small torch at wal-marT for about 15$. Mines 7yrs old and still strikes right up.

I've seen stubborn DS bolts, but never as you describe here... I've rounded quite a few off... but nothing a set of vice-grips can't clamp and remove...
Hope the torch works for you!

I'll try that after letting pb work for a bit.

I am so ready to have a shop. Hell just an ant free slab would do wonders for my work ethic.

a piece of indoor outdoor carpet is nice for working in the gravel. I would go straight to the bfh. If you have a brass drift I would put it to use.

I have those foam puzzle piece things. Beats wet grass but it doesn't deter the fire ants. They think I parked that cruiser there for them.

Sent from my Droid thingy using IH8MUD

Is you reserving the tighty for the whitey? Or maybe even Lucy?

I'm a little late here but before you start playing with fire make sure you clean the pb blaster off the best you can or make sure that it is dry or just be ready for a small fire. Just something to be ready for so you don't freakout and sit up looking for a rag or something to put it out and headbutt the oil pan or even better lower control arm. And go get a cheap tarp to put down then put your pad on top of it. The ants won't be able to get you then plus any spills will be easier to clean up. Oh yeah if you do the fire put the flame on the nut side not the bolt it will make things go faster and if you haven't gotten a torch yet buy MAPP gas instead of propane it burns hotter. Also if you don't fix all the oil leaks that will keep everything nice and lubed up so you won't have stuck nuts and bolts.

All good info. I always used a portable butane torch cause they were smaller and I was always down on my back under small stuff like civics, 240s, etc

I am turning in my resume today, any prayers, happy thoughts, or good vibrations y'all could send my way would be greatly appreciated.
