Hate Mondays, back to work, hate work....

You know what, let me sit down in my comfy chair, in my climate control room, with private bathroom, in front of the computer and stop whining. My job doesn't suck.

Bumping this thread since I posted in TORT and I can't stand whining, from anyone, even myself.

Despite the destruction behind our homes, my elderly neighbor and I decided to go over with shovels tonight and salvage what we could of the old rhododendron and azaleas. We had a good time laughing and digging and sifting through some of the rubble. The demo guys (there was an abandoned residence as part of the lot) lamented the loss of wildlife habitat with us, showed us some of their funniest finds, and even got their equipment out to dig out the bigger ones for us taking some of the plants home after our encouragement.

It's been a heartbreaking week, but this was a balm of sorts.
