I feel it! I see the signs! Get ready!

I'm as giddy as a nun in a cucumber patch.

I'm bringing a Jeep friend in the hopes of converting him to the cult.

So I guess we have to be nice to him?

I think I may be ready...

Got my brakes fixed and all is running good.

wish i were going to be around. i was thinking of being a parts runner or all around photographer on the enduro... (bike friendly trails only of course)... oh well, i will have to read the posts from Africa. that'll go over well on the honeymoon.

Wait-

Marriage is getting in the way of Cruisers? Something is terribly wrong here...

:->

Any beta on Field n Forest? Good sites to reserve, sites to avoid, that kinda thing? Looks like there'll be a small contingent of Appalachian peeps coming up to join in.

My understanding is that it is a big round field with an open center and the sites ring it.

I know there are only a few with electrical hookups (I already reserved 1 for myself. ;) )

Looking forward to some fresh faces!

I'll be on foot/looking for a passenger seat myself. I definitely plan to shoot photo's as well.

Can't wait! It'll be my first in many years.

Ian

Hopefully the 45 will be ready if Cruiser Outfitters ever sends me my parts.

We could make a day out of it if you want a  wrench to help.
I need to do my whole front (birfs and brakes)

same with me... poor landtank would have to just sit there and tell us what to do all day. that requires a cooler full of beer. i really need to do both axles. i dont think it has ever been done on the truck. i am going to order the kits now i think.

I have my parts already, so let me know when you're all set and
we'll bug Rick to hang out at his house :D

right now the garage is half full of a torn apart 80 and the other half is setup for siding work. But two trucks can be parked at the top of the driveway.

But you're right on one thing, with two first timers all I'm going to be good for is pointing and giggling :flipoff2:.

Actually the front of the house will be done siding this weekend and the rear isn't that far off either. The best time is a Saturday in case we get stuck for a part.

If you guys don't have them already, get a set of the new style lower control arm studs. They have a torx head and you can better install them with out fear of them backing out. And also get an extra inner seal as I'm sure one of you will damage a new one on the first try.

When you're ready lets look for a not too hot weekend and get Cattledog on board as well.

Make sure to get a heavy duty fish scale to test your rolling resistance.
