well if you read the I Am Screwed post from a few days ago, you know some of the problems I have had with my FJ60:frown: . To date I have spent the following;

580.00$ + on a rental car because the P/S pump I ordered from Auto parts ware house (Remember that name) took 3 weeks to get here:censor: .
90.00 + c/C for a P/S pump from APWH (Remember these people) making it 186.00$:eek:
150.00 for the installation of the pump. A week later (Friday before Daughters Birthday party weekend it started leaking :confused: )
140.00$ + c/C for the next pump, missed most of the party. Week later it starts leaking.:mad:
90.00 + c/C 180.00 + 2 day shipping
45.00 for cleaning supplies to clean up the mess in the drive way.

boys and girls Im up to over 1300.00 dollars for a power steering pump and I still have to get back to the shop to have them put it in:mad: .

My wife wants me dead and the cruiser scraped. She can sell it for scrap and with my military life insurance gets her half a mil to forget all about my choise of vehicles:crybaby: .

So here is the long and the short of it.
1. If your order online dont order from a place called auto parts warehouse:flipoff2:
2. If you are married, a divorce is cheaper then a land cruiser:whoops: .
3. unless you have kids to tote around buy a moped:idea: .
4. I need a drink but I still have to drop off the cruiser at the shop ( I have a rule I dont drink and drive-ever:beer: ) god I need a drink:beer: .

Dave (soon to be dead or divorced in Los Angeles) Tyner

I sure hope that the shop gets is done for you....I would hate to see you or the cruiser dead....Oh and I will galdly buy the first beer next time we meet...:beer: :beer:

get CC credited

FOR SURE i would be raising H _ _ _ with the suppliers of the original pumps and getting the charges on my credit card credited back... also you may have the recourse with Master Card or Visa to refuse the charges due to faulty merchandise... it is most certainly worth a shot!

this is one more testament to why we hate to pay for dealer prices for OME but often it is the best and cheapest way to go.

I had luck simply replacing the seal in the original pump. They said it couldn't be done and it wouldn't last but mine was good for the year longer that I owned that truck.
