Yep. NHP on the radio saying "Stay Home" if you don't "HAVE" to travel.

I'm heading in tomorrow to buy some studded tires for the truck. I'm tired of slipping around. Going slow only works up to a point.

After this melts and freezes, it's going to be really fun.

Drove from Saint Mary's to Genoa last night in the THICK of it in the taco....The more I drive that little truck in adverse circumstances, the more I LOVE IT!!!
That truck has surprised me EVERYTIME.
Not that I push it all THAT hard, but for my DD that is stock it has done WAAAAAY MORE than I EVER thought it could as it sits.
I had VERY LOW expectations of it and even thought about selling it until I ran it through DV. That was the turning point.

Its gonna need a name as its become one of the family now.

However...the OTHERS out on the road are F*CKING IDIOTS!!!!!

This is the land of DUMB for drivers. Clueless, ignorant, selfish drivers here in Reno.

Kills me!

Try living in Vegas for awhile.

When it snows the roads are literally bumper to bumper with crashed cars where the snow sticks.

Same as when it rains, but worse.

The rain is usually good for about 50-75 crashes in the first hour, especially on a Friday or Saturday when everybody is in a hurry to get somewhere.

Last night I picked up the XJ at ORI after having the add a leaf installed and the steering fixed. The weather was only kinda nasty, the real problem was having my headlights point down now that the rear is back off of the bump stops. I really wish I had a flat driveway to adjust them. The drive home at 5:30 was a bit tricky.

Ditto on the head light adj. I need to do mine as well, but being on a hill really makes it tough.

I grew up in LV, it's a freakin circus when it rains. All that grease and oil that builds up on the roads between rains and then just enough precip to get it wet. Add a population that grew up in places like LA and NJ and you have some real entertainment on the roads.
