Hi Matt, do you have a Voltage Regulator for my 1965 FJ40? Even though it was sold in Mexico it seems to be U.S. Spec given it has the desmogger, reflectors and defroster. Would that affect what VR it should have?

i have a 1965 USA Spec. paper parts cataloger here at the SKUNK WORKS Lab ....


There are 3 different Possible Regulators for that year , here in USA at least

this is easy for Me / us to Confirm


PHOTOS PHOTOS and TONS of close up clear and crisp pics and photos

of

the connector

all color coded tracer striipe wires

any part numbers or ID on it anywhere

i mean like ALL 5 sides i need pics of

if you have a original NipponDenso Part # still on the black steel cover

well .,.,.,./.,..


then we are golden Like VEGAS SLOTS and i have you covered in short order

if no part # or a Cheezy aftermarket Regulator replacement , then the more Photos i will need to give a positive ID

I have no OEM wiring whatsoever. The PO tells me there was a massive short that burned everything electrical. The only things that survived where the heater fan and wiper motors.

Also, my parts manual states my horn relay is located on the front right wheel well like the diagram below so now I am at odds with its location, wheel well or firewall?:
